Service Refunds: Refunds for services provided through Stylesoup Kenya will be subject to the individual service provider’s refund policy. Each service provider may have different refund terms, which will be communicated to you before you make a booking or purchase.

Disputes: If you encounter any issues with a service provided through Stylesoup Kenya, please contact the service provider directly to address and resolve any disputes or concerns.

StyleSoup offers a protection policy for our professionals known as the No-Show/Late Cancellation policy. This means that if you miss an appointment or cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the professionals have the option to charge your card. This policy is presented on the confirmation page when you book your appointment. We empower our professionals to establish their own policies, and as such, we are unable to refund any charges related to No-Shows or Late Cancellations.

How these policies function:

In case of a missed appointment or cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment time, your chosen professional can apply a percentage of the cost of the booked service, as mentioned on their booking page. All No-Show or Late Cancellation policies are determined and implemented by the individual professionals. StyleSoup, does not possess the authority to establish or enforce any policy on behalf of professionals. All charges are directly collected by the professionals themselves. StyleSoup is not authorized to issue any refunds on behalf of our professionals. For all refund matters, please contact your professional directly.

If the cancellation policy is enforced by your professional, the card or local payment processor e.g mpesa that has been used for booking will be charged according to the following guidelines:

Strict Policy: 50% charge for late cancellation, 100% charge for no-show Moderate Policy: 25% charge for late cancellation, 50% charge for no-show

Clients acknowledge and agree to the policy while booking, thereby assuming responsibility for any fees incurred due to late cancellations or no-shows. If your card does not have sufficient funds to cover the fee, it may affect your ability to make future bookings on the platform.

It’s essential to note that StyleSoup solely provides the software that enables professionals to create service lists, manage appointments, accept online bookings, and decide whether or not to charge for specific services, among other functionalities.


We kindly inform you that in the event you incur a charge from a professional on our platform and are unable to make the payment, the outstanding fee will be carried forward to your next booking.

It’s also essential for us to maintain a fair and transparent system for both our valued professionals and clients, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all parties involved. Therefore, we encourage timely settlement of any charges to avoid any inconvenience during future bookings.
